As a self-starter you’ll be pro-active in finding your customers, focusing on businesses where you can build long-term relationships to help them find the right solution as you guide them through the complexity of logistics. With your consultative approach and desire to understand your customer’s challenges you will collaborate with the operations team to create the tailor-made solution to help your customer succeed.

We will help you make this happen by committing to your personal development, enrolling you onto a nationally recognised foundation degree enabling you to learn as you earn. You will have the support of a whole team of people who want you to succeed. You will have access to 121 coaching with senior members of the team and develop skills to help you achieve your financial targets.

We are committed to your long-term career, enabling you to progress financially with a structured career development. Our scheme is performance based, offering a starting salary of £27K per annum progressing to an Account Partner with a basic salary of £52k per annum plus uncapped bonus throughout the stages.

Salary progression:

Year 1 – OTE £29,475 – (Basic £27k) – Account Manager

Year 2 – OTE £39,875 – (Basic £30k increasing to £34K if target is hit) – Account Manager /Senior Account Manager

Year 3 – OTE £61,000 – (Basic £40K increasing to £46K if target is hit) – Senior Account Manager

Year 4 – OTE £70,000 – (Basic £52K) – Account Partner

A Typical Day:

  • Sourcing leads, making contact by phone calls and video, and pro-actively building relationships with new and existing customers, to ensure you are meeting their needs and develop future opportunities with existing accounts.
  • You will have full autonomy of the sales cycle from sourcing to managing all your accounts in your portfolio.
  • Collaborating with our Operations Team to source and quote for the best solutions for both new and existing customers via all modes of transport and markets.
  • Navigate through the ever-changing world of logistics – every day is a school day! Eager to learn and develop your own knowledge, whilst being supported by industry professionals.

  • Do you have a 2:1 degree?
  • Do you have customer facing experience or basic sales experience? This could be any form of sales – telesales, face-face and either B2B or B2C.
  • Are you confident in reaching out and instigating conversations with potential customers?
  • Are you passionate about helping customers?
  • Are you driven, resilient, and determined to succeed?
  • Can you work independently?
