We are seeking to recruit a Geoenvironmental Engineer to join our growing team to support technical excellence and business growth. The position will be based from our Glasgow office and may require travel, occasional overnight stays throughout the U.K., and further afield depending on project requirements. The Role:

The selected candidate will work within a supportive and driven team, and is a progressive role based from our Glasgow office with full training from an experienced and innovative team to develop your skills and a chance to gain experience within a growing environmental consultancy.
You will have the opportunity to challenge yourself by working with highly qualified specialists on a diverse range of projects, delivering commercial and technical excellence to clients across the U.K.
Some travel is involved, for which a company pool car is available and for which a valid driving licence will be required.
Qualifications/Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess a BSc, BEng, or MSc/MEng in Soil Science, Environmental Science, Earth Sciences, Geotechnical Engineering or other relevant discipline.
Awareness and understanding of Geo-environmental engineering principals including ground investigations, reporting and achieving compliance with UK standards.
Skills/Personal Attributes:
- An ambitious individual who is willing to learn and progress.
- Passion for environmental concerns in relation to land and water quality. Although not essential, relevant industry experience would be beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others to form strong positive working relationships with colleagues, clients and contractors in a multi-disciplinary project environment therefore the ability to communicate in a fluent and positive manner and produce clear reports is essential.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload to ensure that timescales and budgets are met.
- Responsibility for your own personal development.
- Be familiar with relevant software packages such as MS Office.
- A clean driving licence and be willing to travel to sites and offices within the UK and further afield when required.
