Job Title: Full Stack PHP Developer
Location: Stevenage
Salary: £32,000 – £38,500, depending on experience
Job type: Full Time, Permanent
Flexible Working: Yes, 3 days in office and 2 days flexible working (either home or office) each week. Please note our office is within a few minutes walking distance from the Stevenage Mainline rail station for ease of commute on in office days (and also offers parking).
The Role:
They are looking to bring someone into their team full time to help accelerate the development of new features in an existing, industry leading, PHP driven platform.
The role is PHP oriented within a LAMP stack. They are looking for someone with an interest in not just building great products, but launching, monitoring and improving them.
You’ll be part of a small and agile team with your own tasks and projects, integrating into an established platform.
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- Excellent experience with writing PHP from scratch, including OOP design practices
- Strong knowledge of MySQL, advanced Git usage, and Linux operating systems
- A strong understanding of web technologies and protocols
- Be comfortable with mobile-first design principles for frontend development with HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript
