Salary: £28,000 per annum Circa
Job type: Full time, Permanent
Working hours: 40 hours per week, to be worked Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm with 1hr unpaid lunch break.

The Role:
Coombes requires a Forestry Coordinator to support our busy forestry department on a full time, permanent basis.
The successful applicant will provide essential support to our office and site-based Forestry team, to ensure a seamless, professional delivery of works and an excellent service to our clients.
As Forestry Coordinator you will be proactive, ‘hands-on’, and act as the first port of call for all forestry enquiries from colleagues, contractors and clients. Key duties include maintaining accurate records to log, track and report on works delivery and ensure compliance to internal and external standards. Coordinating a range of resources to enable teams to work effectively and efficiently on site. You’ll provide professional administrative support to the Operations Director, the Senior Forestry Manager and wider Forestry team, including the coordination and minuting of meetings, and following up on actions in a timely manner.
About You:
- The ideal candidate will be highly organised, able to multitask, and adapt well to changing priorities.
- You will have exceptional attention to detail, along with substantial experience in MS Excel, CRM systems and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills will be key to your success, enabling you to build good internal and external working relationships.
- This role requires you to be proactive in your approach and, as an integral member of the team, demonstrate initiative in problem solving.
- The role will require you to be a self-motivated team member who can work both independently and ‘muck-in’ as part of a team.
- You will be a confident communicator, take pride in your work, complete tasks to a high standard and share Coombes’ ethos and values.
