Job Title: Foreman / Woman – Landscaping experience required

Salary: £37,000 – £40,000 per annum

About the Role:
As a Foreman/Woman at Formosa Landscapes, you’ll own each project from initiation to the client signing it off. You’ll be tasked with creating high spec residential gardens across London and the home counties. Supported by our Director, you will be required to use your strong leadership skills to manage teams ranging in sizes from 2-5, as well as external tradesmen and the client.
A full clean drivers licence is essential for this role.
About you:
You will have excellent communication skills, a good eye for detail to ensure projects are completed to a high standard of craftsmanship, on time and to budget. A pro-active and flexible approach to your duties is essential.
Requirements:
- 5+ years across paving, decking, cladding, turfing, fencing and carpentry within the landscaping industry, please do not apply unless you meet this requirement as a minimum.
- 3+ years of leading teams of 2+ staff members
- Able to assist the Director in the planning and organisation of projects
- Ability to work to a detailed plan and maintain work schedules provided by the Director
- Good communication skills across team members, external trades, clients and designers
- Able to delegate
- Able to maintain a safe and clean working environment as per company policies and safety procedures on site
- Ensuring material waste onsite is kept to a minimum
- Maintenance of all tools, vehicles, equipment and machinery on site
- Good level of spoken English
- A full clean drivers licence is essential for this role
Desirable Requirements:
- ROLO, CSCS Card
- Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
- Ability to focus on completing projects when challenges arise
