Job Title: Food and Beverage Manager
Location: Ormskirk
Salary: £26,000 – £34,000 depending on experience
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
The Company is looking for an experienced food and beverage operator comfortable in a busy environment and displays strong communication and organisation skills whilst championing excellent brand standards and customer service.
The F&B Manager is responsible for achieving the department’s financial and operational objectives through managing all day to day operations within The Scullery Restaurant, Kitchen, Members Bar, Conference and Events.
As a Head of Department, The F&B Manager manages a team of three department managers including Assistant F&B Manager, Events Manager and Head Chef.
Job Duties:
- Day to day responsibility for the department.
- Achieving the company brand standards always
- Ensure the company policies and procedures are always implemented and maintained
- Ensure the highest standards of service are achieved throughout the department
- Be a proactive head of department team member assisting across the site.
- Take ownership and responsibility for all food and beverage led activities and events.
- Ensure the company skills matrix is implemented and Manage all F&B and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
- Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service
- Monitor/manage the financial performance of the department (including costs) on a monthly basis and agree corrective actions if appropriate.
- Identify customers’ needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns
- Lead F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented personnel
- Establish targets, KPI’s, schedules, policies and procedures
- Provide a two way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis in motivation and teamwork
- Comply with all health and safety regulations
- Report on management regarding sales results and productivity
