About the role:
Your role will be to assist in the day to day successful operations of Brimhams, duties will include supervising clients, undertaking fitness inductions, devising personal fitness programmes and providing reception service.
In joining the team you will be part of a transformational journey for the sport, leisure, and active lifestyle services involving a £40miilion investment package to transform facilities and the introduction of exciting new service developments.
On 1st August 2021 the service will move to a new Local Authority Controlled Company, Brimhams Active, and you will be helping to deliver the Vision of “A healthier more active population living longer, more independent and happier lives.” On this date, this role will transfer to Brimhams Active Limited under TUPE on the current terms of employment, a period of continuous employment would be preserved including membership of the North Yorkshire Pension Fund.
About you:
You must hold a recognised Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification, and have the ability to work with exceptional customer care skills. Level 3 Gym Instructor, Exercise to Music qualification, GP referral qualification and experience of running a GP referral scheme, Gym Instruction for Adolescents and a First Aid at Work certificate would be preferred but not essential.
You must be able to work within a small team and maintain the high standards of customer care already established. You will be expected to prioritise and plan your work effectively and efficiently.
