Job Title: Fit out Site Foreman

About the role:
A large basement, extension and high end fit out project, requires a site foreman with hands on, residential, trade skills, strong fit out, Internals, finishing background.
Duties:
- Ensure the site complies with H&S regulations, risk assessments and audits
- Maintain H & S documents
- Manage day-to-day running of the site, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, effectively and on time
- Work closely with all sub-contractors and other construction professionals
- Liaise and report to the Project Manager
- Co-ordinate on-site operations from beginning to end, within agreed safety, time, cost and quality standards and objectives
- Manage site logistics, deliveries and materials
- Provide regular progress updates and conduct regular project reviews with visiting contractors / Project Manager
Key Requirements:
Essential:
- Proven track record with a developer or main contractor
- Ability to read and implement project drawings and identify potential problems
- Carpentry skills
- SMSTS
- CSCS card
- Good time keeping and attendance
- Excellent written and spoken communication
- 3 days 1st Aid Training
Desirable:
- Good all-round skills in all trades relating to building works and fit out.
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in construction
- Microsoft word and excel knowledge. Basic AutoCAD knowledge is preferable
