Job Title: Financial Auditors – Seasonal
Location: Based in Cardiff or Penllergaer or Abergele offices depending on the business need
Salary: £22 per hour
Job Type: Full Time, Contract (Feb – Oct 2019)
The Audit Office is seeking to appoint CCAB qualified auditors for temporary seasonal work through the periods February to October. All audit staff are expected to be mobile and be available to travel for work across Wales, however the auditors will primarily cover a specific geographical area. Therefore successful individuals will need to be able to drive and have access to their own car.
The Role:
- Take a planned approach to work and organise self to best effect
- Evaluate financial systems, identify weaknesses and suggest remedies
- Develop sound findings and meaningful recommendations which are based on audit evidence
- Deliver work within agreed timescales and in accordance with required standards
- Be an effective team member and demonstrate commitment to achieving team goals
