Salary: Circa £18,000
Package: 33 days holiday entitlement per annum + 8 days’ public holidays; Civil Service Pension Scheme (MyCSP); purchasing or selling additional annual leave for additional monthly pay; travel allowance subject to eligibility.

Successful candidates will join a three-year programme studying towards the prestigious Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification. Their apprentices will work within a team supporting the external audit of public-sector bodies across Wales, from health boards, local authorities, fire and police authorities and the Welsh Government.
Main Duties
- To attend and complete the AAT qualification
- Conduct audit work across a range of account areas or grant expenditure, ensuring a planned approach to work with support from a Team Leader or other appropriate supervisor
- Receive support in identifying findings from the fieldwork and develop meaningful recommendations which are based on evidence
- Submit well organised and well written documentation for review
- Any other duties commensurate with role
What you’ll need
You will need 3 A-Levels at grade C or above in any discipline or equivalent qualifications.
They are also looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- A strong team work ethos;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Good communication skills; and
- A desire to continually develop
While the ability to communicate in Welsh is not an essential requirement for an apprenticeship, they are actively encouraging those with welsh skills, or who are willing to learn, to apply for posts.
