The role:
We are looking for someone to #JoinUs as a Financial Accountant – Control and Accounts in our Corporate Finance Department. Could you be who we are looking for?
About the team/Department you will be joining:
You are one of three Financial Accountants on the small Financial Accountancy team. We mainly work remotely and in Police Headquarters Bridgend. The Team is responsible for preparation of the Statement of Accounts, Treasury Management and Capital, Sales Debtors, VAT and Statistical Returns.
About the role and your key responsibilities:
- Help produce the Statement of Accounts, proactively managing the accuracy of the Balance Sheet throughout the year
- Undertake treasury management duties on a rota basis
- Oversee other staff on the Team and duties of VAT, Sales Debtor and Cash Management
What skills and experience do we need you to bring to the role:
- You will need to be a CCAB Qualified Accountant. Though public sector experience would be desirable it is not essential.
