Job Title: Finance Manager
Location: Fenstanton, Cambridgeshire
Salary: Circa £50,000 per annum, dependent upon experience
Job Type: Permanent, Full time
Working Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 4.30pm or 8.00am to 5.00pm
Centrado is a progressive UK company that supplies materials to the picture framing industry. We supply all materials required for making a frame. We have grown through geographical expansion, competitive sourcing and increased product range and have just recently moved into a larger, new purpose built premises in Fenstanton, Cambridgeshire.
About the role:
The Centrado team comprises of approximately 110 hardworking and motivated individuals, and we are recruiting for a new position of Finance Manager to join us. The Finance Manager will be responsible for delivering the end-to-end finance operations of the business, including financial planning and analysis, working alongside our Finance Director.
Key Duties:
- Inspire and motivate to create an engaged and performance focused Finance team
- Manage the regular financial operations within the business, including preparation of monthly management accounts, preparation of full budget variance commentary, VAT returns and updating financial forecasts
- Ensure the business meets all statutory and compliance obligations, including statutory accounting and tax issues
- First point of contact for external auditors
- Look for cost reduction opportunities
- Present year end accounts
- Regular analysis and reporting of department performance metrics
Key Requirements:
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Fully qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Strong demonstrated use of Excel and accounting Software (ideally SAP Business One)
- Ability to effectively delegate and manage the work of others
