0.6-0.68 FTE (22-25 hours) 52 weeks per year. This can be a flexible working pattern and discussed further.
The Robert Carre Trust is looking to appoint a Finance Manager with specific responsibility for the finance team. This post is to provide professional management of financial services across the Trust, working as part of a small team in delivering an effective service supporting team members to ensure the delivery of a high-quality service across the Trust.
The Finance Manager will work alongside the existing Financial and Regulatory Accountant in supporting the Director of Finance and Resources and will have a pivotal role in financial management within the Trust, including management accounts, payroll, budget preparation and financial systems and processes.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional with vision and creativity to join the Trust.
This vacancy will provide the successful applicant with the opportunity to shape and develop the small finance team. We are an outward facing Trust and are looking to appoint someone who will be passionate in their support of our schools and relentless in the pursuit of the continuous improvement we seek as a Trust.
The successful candidate will ideally be AAT level 4 or equivalent, possibly a part-qualified accountant working towards completion of their final exams. They will have experience of successfully leading, managing and developing a finance team or the appetite to do this. They will have excellent accounting, reporting and IT skills, and a strong track record of change management and process improvement.
