Salary: £49,000 – £53,000 depending on experience.

The Candidate:
We are seeking someone who has experience in setting up a Finance Business Partner model. Has the ability to build relationships quickly and is able to teach finance to non-finance managers.
The position requires someone who is a people person, who is organised with excellent communication skills, and someone who has experience of implementing process changes.
The Role:
It is an exciting time to join Claire House, as we are creating a new finance team. We are currently looking for a Finance Business Partner which can be based on the Wirral or Liverpool Site.
The post holder will have responsibility for management reporting at all levels, forecasting, budgeting and 3-5 year business plan, building financial models to stress test the business plan and new initiatives. They will have the ability to support the transformation programme with financial reporting and SME support for finance projects. Partner with the business when looking at future initiatives and projects ensuring the Group understands the financial implications of the decisions taken.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce bespoke management account packs for all business areas and a summarised version for ELT and Board. Ensure the packs are presented in a clear format, with backward and forward looking commentary. This will also include commentary to forecast. This will involve meeting with the budget holders on a regular basis
- Update the budget in collaboration with the business areas and present to Leadership, ELT and Board
- Update the 3-5-year business plan in collaboration with the business and build a financial model to stress test scenarios to enable better planning and cashflow forecasting
- Support the business areas with live projects, by providing up to date financial information, help with future spend and provide finance SME support throughout. This will include modelling future projects/new income streams
- Provide cover for the Financial Accountant, which includes signing off payment runs, mentoring Assistant Accountants
- Working on Finance Projects and Continuous Improvement
