Job Title: Finance Administrator
Location: Didcot Quarter, Abingdon
Salary: £24,000 – £30,000 per annum depending on experience
Job Type: Full/Part time, Permanent

The Role:
The Finance Administrator reports to the Financial Controller and is part of a small business support team that plays a vital role in the smooth running of our UK based logistics company. You will provide finance administration support to the Financial Controller and other members of our senior management team as well as working collaboratively with our colleagues in Germany. The role offers opportunities to develop your financial knowledge in all aspects of accounts, with training to progress your career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing supplier invoices; allocating cost codes for input into XFlow (SAP) and XERO, obtaining approval and updating purchase order records
- Supplier account reconciliations and query resolution
- Accurate data entry of all financial transactions into Xero and interrogation of SAP/Bank accounts/Portals to verify
- Bank reconciliations in XERO of all the Company’s bank accounts
- Credit card transaction postings and reconciliation and fuel card reconciliation
- Processing expenses and petty cash in line with company processes
- Collate data for salaries, expenses etc for monthly payroll to send to payroll bureau
- Assist with the preparation and posting of the monthly payroll journal
- Post Sales Invoices into Xero -reconcile Customer’s account with SAP
- Review debtor chasing with Financial Controller to identify any action to be taken
- Assist Financial Controller with interrogation of any nominal accounts to prove the accuracy of the data in Xero
- Manage the emails in the main Finance Inbox
Key Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications or qualification by experience
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with high levels of accuracy
- Process driven approach
- Finance administration experience
- Strong IT skills including competency in MS Office and finance software
- Ability to work with confidentiality and discretion
