Job Title: Finance Administrator

Salary: £20,000 – £25.000 per annum

The Bussiness:
Netteam tX Ltd is a well-established provider of managed IT services. Founded in 2003 it employs 35 staff across the UK; most are based at its headquarters in Newbury. Current turnover is £5 million; the business has ambitious plans for further growth over the next five years and is in a strong financial position to achieve that. The founders still own the business and lead its day-to-day operations.
About the role:
Based in the Newbury office, the finance administrator is a pivotal role within the company. Reporting to the Financial Controller, with substantial exposure to the founders of the business.
- Handling telephone enquiries relating to both client and supplier queries
- Credit control: communicating with customers in a clear, constructive and engaging manner
- Chasing overdue debts by phone and email and maintaining an accurate, up to date record of this contact
- Posting the daily banking and allocations of payments on customer accounts correctly
- Working closely with internal colleagues on solving issues affecting credit control
- To post all purchase ledger invoices timely and accurately
- First point of call for suppliers with queries on payments
- Regularly request supplier statements to ensure an up-to-date information flow of invoices to finance
- Cash book management.
About you:
- Experience with Excel and Sage
- Good written and verbal communications
- Methodical and conscientious
- Ability to work on own initiative and within a team.
