Job Title: Final Finisher / Polisher / Fabricator / Packer – Day Shift
Location: Dorking, Surrey
Salary: Competitive, dependant on experience
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent or Fixed Term Contract Options
Working Hours: 8am to 4:45pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 1pm Friday (part time working also considered)

Carville is a well-established manufacturer and renowned experts in machining, bonding and finishing engineering grade plastics, especially Acrylic. They supply global, blue-chip customers in industries including life sciences, medical devices and industrial applications with solutions including fluidic manifolds and optical components.
The Role:
We are looking for a Final Finisher / Washer / Polisher / Packer to join our team with key tasks in some or all of the following areas:
- Washing plastic components
- De-burring parts
- Careful packing of parts and relevant paperwork
- Finishing parts to a very high standard
- General assembly work
- Mop polishing components
The Candidate:
The position is suitable for someone who is good with their hands at detailed tasks, with a good eye for detail and ability to work in a clean and tidy manner. Some experience is needed in one or more of the areas above. You need to work well as part of a team, managing your own work-load whilst coordinating with your team and supervisor. There is also scope to progress within the company, for example, working on more complex fabricated parts. Training will be provided as required. We will also consider candidates suitable for the Kickstart Scheme.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Some experience in a manufacturing/production type environment
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to follow defined processes and procedures.
- Hands on, practical approach.
- Positive, problem solving attitude
Nice to have Experience:
- Some engineering background
- Working with plastics
- Detailed assembly work
