About The Role:
A vacancy has arisen for a Final Assembly Operative to join the Manufacturing team based in Denham.
The purpose of this role is to assemble seat pans / main beams and their mechanisms to technical and quality specifications, in order to meet the requirements of the production schedule. The role holder will assist with assembly work including kitting activities, responsible for conducting stage inspection and certifications to technical and quality test procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
- Using technical specifications and drawings, kits of parts, hand tools and other equipment, build seat pans and main beam sub-assemblies to required quality standards
- Using Component drawings and technical / process specifications identify and apply part numbers, drawing issues and relevant surface finishes
- Participation in 5 “S” and other business improvement initiatives
- Undertake self-inspection and quality checks of work undertaken in accordance with laid down quality standards and procedures and to manage/assist in the successful implementation of ongoing process improvements
- Make sure that tools and equipment are fit for purpose, calibrated and maintained within the tool control system at all times, reporting any defects to the Cell Leader
- Conduct stage inspection and final certification of seat pans and mechanisms, main beams, and seat survival kits to technical and quality test procedures
About You:

- The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience in Aerospace or other precision manufacturing environments and applied experience with torque loading pipes / fastener
- It would be beneficial to have good attention to detail and be able to interpret technical drawings
