Salary: Up to £42,000

Location: Worcester

Job Type: Full Time (37.5 hours)

About the Role:

We are looking for a confident self-starter, with a positive ‘can do’ attitude, to join our team as a Field Service Manager; ideally with extensive commercial catering and/or refrigeration equipment servicing and repair experience. You will primarily be supporting field service engineers to ensure customer satisfaction by managing daily activities, performance management, conducting stock and equipment audits, provide technical and operational support, root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and spare part identification.

Duties Include:

  • Consistently deliver exceptional customer support and experiences
  • Routine customer visits to ensure quality of work
  • and Customer-facing position liaising with site personnel.
  • Installation, planned maintenance, and service repairs.
  • Fault finding, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
  • Maintain vehicle, tools, equipment, and spare parts, to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Follow best practices, processes, and procedures.
  • Update systems and complete paperwork on-time
  • Ensure SLA adherence to minimise customer downtime.
  • Support and drive continual improvement through OKRs and KPIs
  • Ensure relevant health and safety regulation compliance.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with back-office teams, and suppliers, to ensure parity and increase understanding.
  • Provide services and support within defined area.
  • Create site surveys and conduct safety assessments

About you:

Working as part of a team you must be efficient and effective, highly organized, tenacious, fun, not frightened of hard work, and going the extra mile should be instinctive.

Experience:

Essential

  • Working within a similar role with 3+ years’ experience
  • Fault finding and root cause analysis.
  • Experience of electrical service, wiring, and maintenance

Desirable

  • Repairing commercial catering and refrigeration equipment
  • Completing PPM
  • Microsoft Applications

Skills and qualifications:

Essential:

  • Safe electrical testing and isolation
  • Technical understanding and aptitude for learning
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Full Driving License

Desirable:

  • COMCAT 1 & 5
  • CONGLP1 PD
  • C&G 2382-15 (17th/18th Edition)
  • Combiovens
  • Microwaves
  • Warewash
  • C&G 2079 (FGas & ODS
