The Company is a market leader specialising in the design, manufacture and supply of end of line robotic packaging machinery for use in the food, confectionery, pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. They are renowned world-wide for their precision, accuracy and flexibility, and have been providing innovative bespoke solutions for more than half a century since developing the world’s first packaging robots.
As a consequence of their continuous growth strategy, they now urgently seek experienced robotic packaging machine Service Engineers. Experience in a similar role is essential as is knowledge of high-speed/volume robotic packaging automation.

The Role:
You will be required to carry out robotic packaging machinery maintenance – both breakdown and planned – including the installation and commissioning of new or modified systems.
Working substantially with pick & place systems, tray loading, case erecting, flow-wrapping, sealing equipment and thermoforming applications, dictates that successful applicants will have a wealth of previous experience working with these types of equipment. You will need to be multi-skilled with experience of mechatronics, pneumatics, electrical control systems and the ability to make program modifications.
The Candidate:
You will need to be an enthusiastic and motivated self-learner, committed to providing high levels of customer service with a logical, analytical and methodical approach to problem solving and excellent attention to detail.
Ideally you will also possess experience of MS-DOS, Siemens S5/S7, Bosch drives and control systems, Nordson/Robatech gluing systems and Incident light scanners.
The candidate should have close network links to both the M6 and M1 Corridor.
