The Company is an established technical distributor of Automation, Control and Safety Products with 45 years experience in the industry. They provide a range of world leading products from a single component up to a full-specified safety system.
They currently have an opportunity for a Field Sales Engineer to join their team. If you are looking for a varied career on the road with full support and training this is the ideal opportunity for you.
You’ll be home/field based covering Yorkshire and East Lancashire. You’ll be met with a salary of £30,000 p.a. depending on experience plus bonus (uncapped OTE), company car, mobile, laptop and pension.
The Role
As Field Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:
- Developing an established customer base of OEMs, system integrators, panel builders and manufacturing end-users.
- Targeting new and existing accounts across Yorkshire and East Lancashire.
- Selling a wide range of industrial control, machinery safety and industrial network products from manufacturers including; IAI, Mitsubishi, Sick, Red Lion Controls, Siemens and Weidmuller.
What you’ll need:
- An electrical or mechanical engineering qualification such as City & Guilds, BTEC, degree (or equivalent).
- A full driving licence.
- Experience of selling industrial control and/or safety products would be an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Well organised, customer focussed, self-motivated and able to thrive in a competitive sales environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to forge and maintain strong working relationships.
