Job Title: FIELD CARE SUPERVISOR
Location: London (Haringey and Barnet)
Salary: £22,000 per year subject to negotiation and experience

St. George’s Homecare has an opening for a Field Care Supervisor/ Deputy Care Manager.

The Role:
As a Field Care Supervisor/Deputy Care Manager, you will be joining an expanding team of inspirational carers for a leading Care Company. We specialise in care at home and are looking for a supervisor/manager to support our growing business.
Responsibilities:
- To ensure service delivery to service users is person-centred, safe and compliant with both CQC and the policies set by Individual Care Services
- To lead and supervise a group of Care Workers and be responsible for service users.
- To ensure your team provide and maintain the highest levels of care in line with the Company’s vision, policies and procedures.
- Set up, implement and review client care plans and ensure all associated documentation is completed in a timely manner.
- Undertake observations of Care Workers work performance, including write-up of notes.
- Complete new starter inductions and monitor to sign-off.
- Hold regular team meetings
- Hold or participate in meetings with service users, their families / representatives, relevant professionals etc.
- Undertake regular audits of the service.
- Prepare a 4-week rota, ensuring appropriate cover is maintained according to agreed levels of support.
- Participate in the on-call rota (which will include some evenings and weekends.
The candidate:
We expect you to have a passion about working in the community more importantly you will need to be passionate about what you do, and that means leading by example. You’ll need to be well organised, be able to work on your own initiative and make decisions, whilst working collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Desirable:
- Experience of supervising /coordinating within the Home Care setting
- Hold a full UK license
- Previous experience working in the care sector
- A care related qualification such as NVQ/QCF Level 2 or above in Health and Social Care, but this is not strictly necessary if you are committed to personal learning and development.
