Closing Date: Sunday 22nd October 2023.
Interview Date: Friday 3rd November 2023.
The Role:
The Faculty of Health and Medicine is looking for a Faculty Research Project Manager to support our growing research portfolio. When new grants are awarded there can be a gap between funding being agreed and the research project actually starting. However, there can be various research related tasks required to prepare for the grant starting formally. This might include preparing or gaining ethical approval or wider Governance approvals. It may also involve supporting principal investigators once the grant starts, until they can employ a researcher to the project. You would be supporting 2-3 projects at a time including those with Horizon Europe Funding, NIHR but other funders too.
You will be looking to develop their research skills across a range of health-related disciplines. The Faculty of Health & Medicine provides an environment that strongly supports the individual needs of each employee, promoting a healthy work-life balance. We are committed to family-friendly and flexible working policies on an individual basis, as well as the Athena SWAN Charter, which recognises and celebrates good employment practice undertaken to address gender equality in higher education.
