Job Title: Facilities Assistant

Salary: £20,835 per annum

They are looking for a Facilities Assistant to join the Premises Team, under the direction of the Facilities Manager. The Facilities team provide a high quality service to take care of the premises and school grounds, in order to secure a clean, comfortable, accessible and safe environment for all users of the school buildings.
The post will include:
- Maintaining the school grounds,
- Carrying out minor repairs and routine maintenance,
- Supervising external contractors whilst in the building
- Acting as a key holder – ensuring that the building is safe and secure at the end of the day.
You must be available to work 3 evenings per week as part of your core shift pattern. Flexibility is essential.
The Candidate:
- You will ideally need to be qualified to Level 2 (GCSE or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- A technical qualification or skilled vocational qualification is also desirable.
- Experience of carrying out grounds and minor work is essential along with the ability to follow procedures and to take direction from senior staff.
