Job Title: Experienced Vehicle Technician/Mechanics
Location: Rowlands Castle, PO9 6BN
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Job type: 45 hours per week (Mon – Fri 08:30 – 17:30 with one hour lunch. Saturday working every second Saturday 08:30 to 13:30)

About the role:
As a Vehicle Technician, you’ll be responsible for:
- Diagnosing faults on vehicles using cutting-edge equipment
- Conducting servicing and repairs to a full range of car brands from clutches, brakes to more complex diagnostics
- Carrying out road tests as necessary
- Ensuring all processes are followed and work completed accurately and on time
- Advising the Service Receptionists about required parts
- Communicating technical knowledge to service reception and customers when required
- Producing repair time estimates
- Maintaining repair and service records
About you:
To apply for this position, you must have:
- A proven track record working in a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic position
- Level 4 certificate (or equivalent)
- A high level of diagnostic capability
- The ability to draw upon past experience to troubleshoot issues
- An existing right to live and work in the UK
- A full UK driving licence (ideally clean)
In addition, a working knowledge of Mercedes Xentry, BMW ISTA, VAG ODIS would be an advantage but is not a requirement and training can be provided. All three systems are installed here, along with Autel, Snap-On and Launch diagnostic systems.
Main dealer experience from VW, Mercedes or BMW is again an advantage, but all backgrounds will be considered from small independents to main dealers.
A good understanding of vehicle networking, diagnostics, hybrid and electric vehicles will be an advantage.
An MOT licence is also an advantage, but not a necessity.
