About the role:
Woking within the Executive Support Team, the Executive Assistant plays an important role in supporting the Corporate Directors, and the members of the Corporate Management Team. Executive Assistants liaise with key senior figures of the council and outside it, to build relationships that enhance the way the Corporate Directors operate and establish strong and transparent lines of communication.
This is a fast-paced, exciting and varied role, whilst being extremely rewarding. Responsible for maintaining a complex schedule, the Executive Assistant takes ownership of arranging all meetings and briefings, including producing papers and agendas where required. You will be skilled at organising a diary to ensure that your Corporate Director can operate effectively and efficiently.
As the Executive Assistant, the role also tracks casework (including FOI requests), formats documents whilst supporting financial tracking activities for the Corporate Director. All tasks require the Executive Assistant to have an understanding of the key processes, which in turn helps to identify improvements to systems and processes, supporting the overall delivery of the service
