Job Title: Events Executive
Location: Kensington Palace and Kew Palace
Salary: £27,026 plus overtime
Job Type: Full Time, 12 Months Fixed Term Contract (with possible extension to 2 years)

The Organisation looks after some of the most iconic sites in the UK today including Hampton Court, the Tower of London, Kensington Palace the Banqueting House, Kew Palace and Hillsborough Castle.
They are currently recruiting for two dedicated Events Executive to help maximise the commercial potential of Kensington Palace and Kew Palace.
Role Overview:
This role is about communication as much as organisation. You’ll guide your portfolio of internal and external clients and suppliers through every aspect of the event planning process. Whether you’re focusing on sales, organisational detail, financial documents (or anything in between) your contact will always have accurate information and ultimate confidence in your ability.
The successful Candidates will be passionate and experienced in running quality events, have a natural flair for building and developing relationships with key stakeholders and be able to bring creative ideas to the table, helping the team deliver successful innovative events.
In-depth knowledge of the industry is essential and any insight into British history will stand you in good stead. Microsoft and database management skills will be required, and you also realise the importance of good team work.
Key Requirements:
- Be a self-starter and a quick learner with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Possess the ability to work on their own initiative,
- Be flexible and adaptable with an outgoing and engaging personality
- Work well in a team environment
- Demonstrate excellent IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft packages and ideally Kinetix database
- Educated to A-level standard (or equivalent)
- Have proven experience of running events on a sales or an operational level.
Please note, you must be prepared to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends if the events schedule requires it.
