Job Title: Events Coordinator

Salary: £25,138 to £28,759 per year
Job type: The role is advertised as full time, however we are open to flexible working discussions and you will be able to work on a hybrid basis between your home and our office based in the LICA Building. This role would be suitable for a secondment opportunity.

The Role:
We are looking for an events co-ordinator to support the development and delivery of our Festival of Futures events to be held in March 2024. Consisting of two flagship events, an exhibition, and other micro events, the festival is the culmination and celebration of all the research and outputs undertaken and delivered during the Beyond Imagination project. One of the flagship events will bring four of the E3 design research projects from across the UK together.
You will work alongside the project Professional Services team in event planning, co-ordination, and delivery of these events as indicated in the job description.

Beyond Imagination Research Project;
Beyond Imagination, a radical £13.2 million 4-year research project, explores and demonstrates how cutting-edge interdisciplinary design research can create a healthier, more prosperous and sustainable world. It has enabled ImaginationLancaster to expand its expertise and reach. Funded by Lancaster University and Research England as part of its E3 Expanding Excellence in England fund, the bold and engaging Beyond Imagination project has put design research at Lancaster firmly on the global map. It transformed the University’s ImaginationLancaster design team with 30 new roles – a significant increase. The project provides fresh perspectives on real world challenges addressing current global challenges such as Ageing Society, Artificial Intelligence and Data, Clean Growth, Net Zero, Health and Wellbeing – and identifies and tackles future emerging challenges.
