Job Title: Event Set up Agent
Location: Hybrid/Remote based
Salary: £21,332 pro rata per annum
Job Type: Full time (37.5 hours per week) part time (up to 20 hours per week) contracts.

About the role:
Responsible for building and maintaining live events on the Quaytickets ticketing system and offering ongoing support to The Lowry and Quaytickets clients using our computerised ticketing system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up shows and events using the SRO computerised ticketing system.
- Providing support and over the phone, via email and occasionally on site at client venues.
- Proactively working with clients to ensure they are using the tools provided by Quaytickets aseffectively as possible.
- Create new report templates, ticket layouts and seating plans for customers as required.
- Setting up marketing discounts, offers, memberships and extras as required.
- Administer ticket mark backs, API sales and other 3rd party sales from agents, affiliates and partners who work with The Lowry, Quaytickets and our clients.
- Produce and schedule reports using, but not exclusively, SRO and Excel.
- Event close off.
- Identify and log system problems with Seat Geek (SRO) and ensure system problems are appropriately escalated internally.
- Process ticket sales, exchanges and refunds as required.
- Producing work to a high standard of accuracy. Checking colleagues work and initiating processes to resolve mistakes.
- Assist with mobile box office configuration and support both onsite/offsite and over the phone.
- Work together with other departments within The Lowry ensuring the best possible experience for all our visitors and customers.
- Promote and comply with legislation and The Lowry’s policies on equal opportunities and health and safety both in the delivery of services and the treatment of others.
- Identify and undertake training and development as required in order to meet personal and business needs.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Ability to become quickly adept at using new technology.
- Ability to prioritise work and work well under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- High level of numeracy.
- Literate.
- Experience of working in a ticketed Arts or live entertainment venue or alternatively at a ticketed visitor attraction.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Strong customer care and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Flexible approach to change.
- Problem solving with electronic sales systems.
- Able to take responsibility and be accountable for own work.
- Knowledge of computerised box office systems.
- Worked in a box office, ticket agency, other large ticket sales environment or system supplier.
- Applying knowledge to solve new and challenging problems.
- Driving Licence.

The successful candidate will be required to work 37.5 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, with a mixture of 9:30 – 17:30 and 12:00 – 20:00 shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
