Job Title: Equipment Sales Coordinator

Salary: Up to £23,000

Location: Worcester

Job Type: Full Time (37.5 hours)

About the Role:

We are looking for a confident self-starter, with a positive ‘can do’ attitude, to join our team as a Equipment Sales Coordinator; liaising with internal and external customers, to ensure smooth delivery of equipment solutions, on-time, every time.

Job Purpose:

To be the link that connects all the pieces in the puzzle – Sales and Project teams, our customers, and our suppliers. To ensure that commercial catering and refrigeration equipment is ordered and delivered accurately and on-time to meet and exceed our customer expectations.

You will be working as part of a team with efficiency and commitment to complete your work and strive to maintain the business performance targets.

This role best suits an upbeat and collaborative individual who is motivated by challenge. It is important that the applicant has a history of working in a busy, telephone-based sales environment.

To establish and nurture positive and meaningful relationships with internal and external customers, and to ensure exceptional customer experiences

Duties Include:

  • Processing customer orders; to source and supply, catering, and refrigeration equipment
  • Liaising with suppliers, project teams, and internal customers
  • Quoting for new equipment, in a timely manner
  • Communicating with suppliers to obtain quotes and schedule delivery
  • Coordinating engineers to install equipment
  • Planning Sprint driver deliveries and routes daily
  • Email and call handling
  • General administration duties

About you:

Working as part of a team you must be efficient and effective, highly organized, tenacious, fun, not frightened of hard work, and going the extra mile should be instinctive.

Experience:

Essential

  • Using digital technology in a professional context
  • Working in a busy telephone-based sales environment
  • Working with complex information
  • Administrative experience gained in a fast-paced environment
  • Order processing

Desirable

  • CRM systems
  • Equipment sales

Skills and qualifications:

Essential:

  • Excellent literacy and numeracy
  • IT literate with experience of Microsoft Office programmes
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • GCSE grades A-C/9-4 in English and Mathematics or equivalent
  • Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload with conflicting priorities and tight deadlines
  • Aptitude for learning new skills and systems

Desirable:

  • Touch typing
  • Customer service qualifications
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends within the on-call rota
