Job Title: Wedding & Corporate Event Entertainment Booker
Salary: £19,000 per annum
Based: Torquay, Devon
Job type: Permanent, Full Time
The company is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of entertainment to corporate events, private parties and weddings.
They’re looking for a bright, enthusiastic, driven person to join their small, friendly entertainment agency based in Torquay.
Here’s a summary of the kinds of responsibilities they’ll be looking for you to tackle head first:
- Organising and attending meetings with prospective new clients
- Spend time building relationships with clients -soft selling
- Writing creative proposals to clients who are looking for unique entertainment ideas as well as for clients who are happier with standard entertainment
- Looking at new acts and performers on the entertainment circuit and figuring out ways to incorporate them in your proposals
- Potentially attending events to ensure their smooth running
And this is what they’d like to see from you:
- Great multi-tasking, time-management, written and oral communication skills
- Must be able to work Monday-Friday plus potentially very occasional evenings
- You know your way around a computer
- Confident attitude, happy to work under challenging situations
- A good sense of humour and the ability to work under your own initiative
- Sociable personality, a love of entertainment, driving licence and car a plus
