Job Title: Engineering Store Person
Location: Blaydon on Tyne
Salary: £12.00 per hour

Impress Group has established a reputation for quality and service, manufacturing a vast range of machined, fabricated, welded, pressed, painted and laser cut components to our customer’s specification.
Our ever-growing client base including industries such as Sub-sea, Oil Gas and Exploration, Rail, Marine, Fastenings, Furniture, Defence and Aerospace.
Key responsibilities:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and driven Store Person to join our busy stores department, based at our Blaydon head office.
- Full support of the entire goods in and out procedures.
- Safely package good for dispatch.
- Verifying stock and delivery quantities are correct against business documentation.
- Recoding of all stock movements using our MRP system.
- Completing of stock audits inline with the business ISO system.
- Regular repetitive light, medium and heavy lifting utilising the equipment provided.
- Ensure a high standard of housekeeping is achieved and maintained at all times and in line with Health & Safety.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a positive can do attitude and possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Computer literate, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Previous experience of stores systems / practices
- An appreciation of stock control systems
- Able to work using their own initiative.
- A highly motivated and proactive person who can demonstrate successful experience in a similar role using a stock control or ERP / MRP system.
- Experience with data input
- Counterbalance forklift licence would also be an advantage but not essential.
