Job Title: Employer Engagement Consultant
Location: Bolton
Salary: £30,396 – £35,211 (Pro-rata) per annum
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent (37.5 hours per week)
The University has embarked on an ambitious agenda as a “Teaching Intensive, Research Informed” institution. Its robust financial position, recent achievements and increased focus and innovation around employability has put the University in a good position to capitalise on the challenges and opportunities of the current Higher Education environment.
They are now seeking to appoint a number of Employer Engagement Consultants who can engage with employers externally and also academic colleagues internally to secure work experience, placements, projects and ultimately graduate level employment for our students and graduates.
To be effective in this exciting new role you will have
- Excellent interpersonal / influencing skills
- Confident in networking with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of the graduate employment market and the higher education employability agenda.
Successful candidates will be of graduate calibre and preferably have a
- Strong business/recruitment background and a proven ability to develop and maintain long-term ongoing relationships.
- High level of organisational skills with experience of organising events.
