We are currently hiring an Email Marketing Manager to join our existing team in Harrogate.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the development of an effective email marketing strategy, implementation and delivery. You must have a proven background as an email marketing specialist, ideally in a B2B environment. You will be the go-to specialist for all email marketing activity from strategy, sign off and best practice through to reporting on all types of email communications including ROI on a monthly and campaign basis. You will deliver relevant and highly targeted emails to varied global audiences and manage marketing automation through the use of triggered communications. Through a test and learn approach you will drive performance and make recommendations to improve engagement, customer experience and ultimately ROI.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the delivery of a variety of successful email marketing campaigns
- Writing clear, creative and engaging copy for email campaigns
- Using email automation, split testing, segmentation, personalisation and dynamic content to maximise email performance
- Measure and report performance of marketing campaigns against key matrix such as delivery rate, CTR, open rates and ROI
- Review messages for brand accuracy and customer experience
- Working with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all campaigns
- Thoroughly proofreading and testing emails before sending
- Ensuring emails follow industry policies and best practices such as GDPR
- Monitoring trends within the IT industry and email marketing to ensure emails are industry leading
- Preparing, cleansing and segmenting data for campaigns
