Job Title: Electrician (Industrial / Commercial)

A separate winding department provides a comprehensive rewinding service for all types of electrical plant. The company also has separate departments for Facilities Management Companies where we can offer integration of our onsite services.
The Role/Candidate:
We require an Industrial/Commercial Electrician who has strong industrial/commercial experience and has worked in range of different premises such as Industrial premises, Factory’s, Offices, Nursing Homes, Retail, Restaurants or Leisure Centres.
You will be testing Commercial and Industrial premises, carrying out installation and rectification work within the locations. The work will also include working with electrical motors, pumps, control systems and carrying out some fault finding.
Experience:
Must have a strong industrial/commercial electrical background.
- Ideally 18th Edition qualified.
- NVQ/C&G qualified.
- 2391 qualified.
- Three phase experience.
- Have an understanding of Electrical Controls, Inverters and Starters
- A full valid UK driving license is essential for this position.
- Previous experience working with motors/pumps will be an advantage.
- Adhere to customer procedures e.g. Entry/Exit from customer premises and to all Health and Safety policies/ Risk Assessments.
- Happy to work on site with an apprentice as required.
- Willing to work at height using towers and powered access equipment when required.
- Willing to have covid tests and to meet other requirements that may be introduced in the future by the government and or customers to access care homes and health care facilities.

- Self-motivation and personal drive to complete tasks to required timescales and quality standards.
- To take initiative, and work without close supervision.
We are a reactive company offering 24/365 cover to our customer’s requirements. The successful candidate for this role must be willing to do whatever is needed to ensure that the job is completed efficiently and on time and this may include working overtime.
Working hours are generally 8 hours between 8 and 5 but on occasions the working day may vary to meet customers’ requirements.
There may be very odd occasions where night working may be required where works cannot be completed during normal hours.
