Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Stoke-on-Trent, ST4 4BA
Salary: £36,000 + per annum basic salary (negotiable depending on skills & experience)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday – Thursday 8.00am to 4.30pm, Friday 8.00am to 3.00pm with 1/2 hour lunch break.
About the Role:
Rotating Machinery Services are looking to recruit a fully qualified and experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their highly skilled team of engineers.
This is a varied role where you will be mainly carrying out on site breakdown repairs / fault finding, installations, planned servicing & inspections at our customers sites but also includes panel building & building of our bespoke manufacturing equipment.
The successful candidate will have:
- Time served electrical engineer within a manufacturing environment
- Previous Experience in a customer facing field service role, preferably within a similar industry
- The ability / knowledge to make decisions on site which are in the interests of both the company and the customer
- Excellent communication skills
- Self motivated and able to work on their own initiative
- Full clean driving licence
- The ability to read electrical drawings
- You will be expected to complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, keeping logs of inspections reports and remedial work
- Reactive and planned maintenance skills
- Problem solving / breakdown analysis
- A level of PLC fault finding skills. (Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley, Siemens S5 / S7) is advantageous.
- Good electrical installation skills.
- Proactive approach to engineering.
- 18th edition regulation certificate.
- PLC qualification an advantage.
