Job Title: Electrical Contracts Manager
Location: Swindon
Salary: OTE £55K – £60K (salary + Bonus)

As one of the largest contractors in the areas our work is very varied. Work will include domestic, commercial and light industrial sites. Our varied range of services makes this role both interesting and challenging. We are seeking exceptional candidates to join our growing company. We have a strong, large customer base which continues to expand.
The role:
- Managing multiple projects through from initial enquiry to client handover
- Pricing projects and producing quotes. Evaluating and completing tenders
- Producing job related documents such as RAMS, NICEIC certificates and O&M files
- Working with both private and public sector
- Projects are varied and value from £500 – 150K. Many jobs will be small works
- Client liaison and attending meetings. Surveying work ahead of producing quote
- Recruitment and management of labor including sub-contractors
- Cost control, P&L understanding and reporting out
Requirements:
- You will previously have worked as an Electrical Contracts Manager for a minimum of five years and be confident in running multiple projects as above
- Experience of dealing with smaller, more reactive type work. Comfortable and willing to consistently be dealing with multiple things simultaneously
- Proven experience and a strong understanding of commercial, domestic and light industrial electrical work
- Commercially astute and willing to make decisions
- It is important that you have worked your way up from the tools and hold recognizable electrical qualifications. Ideally, including 18th Edition and C&G 2391
- Proficient with IT systems as the company have modern processes
- Happy working to targets. Your remuneration is a basic salary + an uncapped performance-based bonus scheme
- Able to operate under pressure and produce exceptional results. Genuinely willing to source and work on projects of all sizes, including very small jobs. Comfortable dealing with reactive situations and jobs alongside longer term projects
- Strong communicator. Comfortable communicating with people at all levels from engineers to senior managers
- Fire alarm experience advantageous but not essential
- Driven and happy to look for work as well as manage jobs
- You will live no more than a 40-minute commute from our office.
