Job Title: Electric Van Driver
Location: Cambridge
Salary: £25,000 pa for full time role, this will be pro rata for part time (£12.82 ph)

We’re on the hunt for friendly hard-working night time Electric Van Drivers with a good level of fitness to operate out of our Cambridge Hub
Zedify is building a system for deliveries that is fit for the future and better in all ways; zero emission by default (no offsetting here), intuitive & flexible (a great customer experience) and better for people (no gig economy for us).
The Role:
Reporting to the Cambridge Hub Manager, the trunking delivery driver will be required to travel throughout the evening and night to deliver supplies to our Zedify hubs and customers in our electric van.
The role will require someone who is happy to travel to the Midlands to switch and accommodate our Northern depots when necessary.
This role is essential in providing exceptional quality of service to our customers and hubs across the organisation. Our drivers will represent Zedify and should always deal with queries in a professional manner working to our Operational standards.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review orders prior to delivery to ensure everything is as required
- Perform vehicle inspections prior to departure
- Loading and unloading deliveries in a safe and effective manner
- Ensure customer satisfaction and provide an excellent customer service
- Navigate safely to destinations
- Use our software to mark delivered items
- On non driving days assist in depot where required
What we are looking for:
- Applicants must have a clean driving record
- Be excellent communicator and deal with everyone in a professional manner
- Previous experience driving electric vehicle is advantageous
- Able to work with little or no supervision
- Ability to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws
- Be comfortable at driving late at night
What you’ll be doing:
At Zedify, you’ll be contributing to transforming the way deliveries are done in urban areas and helping us create the healthier and more liveable cities of the future!
This role is currently 37.5 hours per week with night driving on Monday, Wednesday and Friday 02.00-12.00
On Tuesday and Thursday the shifts would be 06.00-12.00 and would involve other tasks at or around our Cambridge hub.
We can consider making this a part time role for applicants who only wish to drive 3 nights a week
