The role:
We are looking for an experienced, friendly, and reliable Driver to join our Operations Team.
We are interested in receiving applications from people wanting to work for us on a casual basis by joining our Bank where a variety of shifts will be available from Monday to Sunday.
Key Responsibilities:
The role consists of driving our minibuses in and around London, providing a safe and efficient transport service for the Morden College residents and for other authorised users. The role involves regular inspections of the vehicles to ensure their cleanliness, serviceability and safety as well as dealing with and reporting promptly any shortfall in the vehicle. The role consists of supporting the post room when not transporting residents.
The job can be physically demanding in terms of regular driving and manoeuvring wheelchairs to and from the vehicle and securing them once they are in the vehicle. Therefore, a reasonable level of fitness is required for this post.
The Candidate:
A full clean driving licence with D1 and previous experience in driving minibuses or larger vehicles are essential. Experience of working with older people would be advantageous.
As a Mini-Bus Driver you will be supporting Morden College residents to get out of their homes, reconnect with the local community and access stimulating activities that reflect their passions and personalities, and reignite their love for life. You will have a friendly and helpful personality, you will be flexible and accommodating, be polite and have the confidence in speaking with a variety of customers. You will have extreme care and consideration for our residents and their safety and security.
