Job Title: Direct Sales Administrator – Spares

Salary: £25,000 per annum

The Role:
Whilst winning new customers is important it is equally important that we maintain and develop our relationships with those customers we have already secured. Our Direct Sales Administrator provides customers with detailed information on a product, price quotes and any discount options that can further help the sale close. The Direct Sales Administrator will use excellent communication skills in their regular contact with customers; putting forward a product’s features to facilitate a sale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage selling of spares for Commercial and Industrial product ranges in professional manner.
- Administer and ensure compliance to all sales objectives.
- Monitor all customer queries and ensure timely response to all issues.
- Coordinate with customers and provide various company plans and services and detail quotes for all required information.
- Document and maintain records of sales activities and provide updates.
- Take responsibility for the direct sales process:
- Ensure jobs are created for all direct sales activities
- Ensure direct sales stock allocation is completed on daily basis
- Ensure that dispatch of direct sales spare parts is completed on a daily basis
- Ensure credit notes are issued when required
- Be responsible for generating and managing new and existing sales opportunities through enquiry, quotation, etc
- Participate in all departmental meetings and provide training for same.
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
- Ensuring ‘direct sales absence coverage by providing a training for the rest of the team
- Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
