This health charity believes that everybody deserves to have good oral health. As part of the team, you will help the charity create a happier and healthier future by improving standards of oral health.
The primary role of the Digital Content Creator is to create engaging video and design content for digital channels, with a strong focus on social media.
The Role:
Video Creation
- Shoot high quality video in house and on location and edit them to a high standard
- Create video for all parts of the charity’s online footprint, specifically social media
- Help distribute video to news outlets and journalists
- Produce videos that will target politicians and policy makers
Design and graphics
- Create static graphics for social media, the website and printed materials
- Produce motion graphics and animations that will engage digital audiences
- Help the team develop and re-brand awareness campaigns with new imaginative designs
- Design documents, brochures and infographics for a range of different audiences
Website, e-communications and webinars
- Maintain the charity’s website while pitching and delivering modern changes
- Design and deliver the charity’s emails to inform subscribers and engage them in activities
- Edit and design the digital’s digital magazine
- Provide creative and technical support for the charity to engage in more webinars
Health campaigns and press
- Assist in the creation of new and innovative digital campaigns to promote better oral health
- Digitally engage with the general public, health professionals and the media in all Foundation campaigns and initiatives
- Use digital channels to increase fundraising events and donations for the charity
- Support the press office with press releases, features, statements and comments
Oral Health Foundation activities
- Grow the Foundation’s image and reputation as a charity improving oral health
- Publicise and promote the charity’s activities and events
- Position the Foundation as a leader in oral health education and campaigner for mouth cancer action
- Increase awareness of the charity’s Dental Helpline and charitable output
Corporate relations
- Increase participation of Foundation campaigns amongst dental, health and pharmaceutical organisations
- Inform external health related organisations about the existence of the Dental Helpline, Foundation campaigns and other charity services and activities
- Identify and develop opportunities for partnerships with corporate organisations
- Increase the number of schools and workplaces aware of the Foundation and its work while creating more opportunities for them to support the charity
Systems and databases
- Develop and maintain the Foundation’s stakeholder databases
- Evaluate and record press cuttings/online impressions/responses to monitor volume of media response
- Develop, update and analyse campaign databases
- Examine avenues to develop closer relationships with a variety of stakeholders in databases

- Ability to produce, shoot and edit video
- Good knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- Excellent IT and digital skills
- Comfortable creating content for all major social media platforms
- Good communication skills both orally and written
- Takes initiative and creatively minded
- Ability to prioritise and plan effectively
- Planning digital strategies and campaigns
- Awareness of the media and politics in communicating health messages
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Liaising with clients, managerial and journalistic staff about budgets, timescales and objectives
Ideal qualification
- Degree in a suitable subject as to meet role requirements, or equivalent experience
