Job Title: Development & Alumni Relations Officer

Salary: £21,950 Progressing to £25,608 (Based on 37.5 hours per week)

We currently have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our vibrant and busy school community as the Development & Alumni Relations Officer. The successful candidate will join our Development office by April 2022 or as soon as practicable.
The role holds responsibility for the day to day administrative duties within the Development office, along with managing and maintaining the department’s database; assisting the Development Director to deliver the fundraising strategy; arranging and managing events and ensuring donors are thanked for their gifts. The successful candidate will also implement a programme of communications, including regular social media posts, e-newsletters and magazines as well as more personalised communications.
What you will need:
- Confidence in communicating with a variety of key stakeholders; including supporters, donors, alumni and parents.
- An excellent knowledge and experience of using Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). Experience of desktop publishing would also be an advantage.
- Experience of writing reports and articles and presenting the information appropriately.
- A highly motivated and organised approach with an innovative, independent work style.
- To be able to attend occasional evening and weekend events as required by the post.
This role is full time, all year round. There is some flexibility around the total hours of work. We will consider requests to work between 30 hours per week and 37.5 hours a week, with the exact working pattern to be discussed at interview.
