Job Title: Deputy Principal (Curriculum & Quality)

Location: Wigan

Salary: £75,477 – £84,980 P/A (Additional allowances available for highly experienced candidates.

Job type: Permanent, Full Year. Full time, 36.25 hours per week.

Work pattern – 08.30am – 4.30pm. Monday – Friday.

St John Rigby College offers a wide range of academic and vocational courses at all levels in a highly supportive and caring environment to approximately 1400 full-time students aged 16-18. The Role:

Following an external promotion, we are seeking a to appoint a talented and committed Deputy Principal to become an integral part of our Senior Leadership Team. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced leader and accomplished practitioner who has the passion, drive, and commitment to deliver inspirational leadership to a dedicated team of staff.

This post would suit an individual with ambitions to become Principal and is open to contributing to a range of responsibilities within the College. The successful candidate will have significant and relevant experience of educational leadership, as well as the ability to drive development of all aspects of an excellent teaching and learning environment and overall student experience.

Salary Grade:

Leadership Spine Range L17-L22 of the Sixth Form Colleges’ Association Leadership pay scale.
