Job Description: Cylindrical Surface Grinder
Location: Chelmsford
Salary: Negotiable – Depending On Experience & Flexibility.
Job type: Full Time – Permanent. 38 hours per week – flexible start finish and lunch time. Core hours- 08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday & 08:00 – 12:00 Friday.
The company has been running for nearly 60 years and have had steady growth since the beginning. Currock specialise in precision engineering and cover the Aerospace, Defence and energy sector. The plant has over 50 machines in the factory.
Job Specification:
The role will entail using machinery such as Jones & Shipman, Easy 650 CNC, surface grinding on various grinders. You will carry out Cylindrical, surface and centreless grinding as well as manual grinding. If you have other skills including mill then this would be advantageous but not essential.
