Simtec Materials Testing is a leading provider of asphalt, aggregates, earthworks, and concrete testing services for construction and infrastructure projects. The Role:
The Customer Service Representative(s) will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring that all inquiries are handled promptly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, both internal and external.
- Respond to client enquiries via telephone, email, or in person in a timely and professional manner.
- Schedule appointments visits and testing services for clients.
- Enter and update client information in our database accurately and promptly.
- Assist with billing inquiries and invoice preparation.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that client needs are met.
- Participate in customer service training and development programs as required.
- Any other duties within your capabilities.
Key Working Relationships:
The Customer Services Representative will work closely with the Customer Services Team, Laboratory Operations Team, Site Services Team, and Estimating Team to ensure that customer needs are met. The Customer Services Representative(s) will also interact with clients regularly, providing updates on service status and addressing any questions or concerns.
What we are looking for?
- 3 GCSE’s A*- C or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or related field
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and LIMS/CRM/ERP software
- Experience in the construction or materials testing industry (preferred)
