The Role
We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to carry out all Customer Service procedures and tasks to the required standards, delivering best-in-class customer service and experience to key internal and external stakeholders in line with the business objectives.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer experience by putting the customer at the centre of everything we dodo.
- Process and manage customers’ orders, communications and enquiries.
- Investigate and promptly resolve any customer queries.
- Handle and answer telephone calls in a polite and timely manner with a first call resolution approach
- Adhere to relevant legislation whilst issuing all freight related (export) documentation in a timely manner.
- Prepare customer quotations and proforma documentation in line with office procedures – issue and understand all commercial sales-related documents.
- Develop knowledge, techniques and skills through internal and external training.
- Liaise with production, technical and finance departments to maintain a world class customer service standard.
- Liaise and support relevant sales teams, to deliver seamless and exceptional customer experience.
- Attend and contribute to all Team and Company communication briefings.
- Use relevant IT equipment and software systems associated with the job function.

- Ability to collaborate effectively in an internal and external cross functional environment
- Able to interact with high proficiency at all levels of a customer (End user and Distributor)
- Flexible approach
- Able to prioritise and work within strict deadlines
- Acts as an ambassador for customers
Desirable skills
- Experience of export, hazardous shipping, and air freight
- Experience of manufacturing industry would be ideal
- First experience in a similar role / relevant experience
- Degree level educated in a Commercial subject
