Jepson & Co are currently recruiting for a Full Time Customer Service Executive to join our team based in Sheffield.
Role and Responsibilities:
The CCR will be responsible for supporting external and internal customers in the day to day process of placing orders, dealing with any queries and ensuring the correct interpretation of their needs, in a positive and effective manner consistent with the values of the organisation.
You will be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and ethics and put the customer first in all situations.
A requirement to effectively and calmly communicate, actively listen along with a can-do attitude is very much needed for this role.
A good level of understanding of Microsoft products would be advantageous.
The departments performance is of great importance and highlights the level of service we are offering. The sales department is the heart of the business and essentially, we are the voice of the customer.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- A proven background in a Customer Care role.
- English grade C or above.
Essential Competencies:
- Accuracy is KEY
- Receive and interpret orders from customers via different channels
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- Dealing with a range of queries in a professional manner
- Good time management and organisation skills
- Handle customer complaints
- Offer day to day support to colleagues and be an integral part of the team environment
- Always look to build good customer relationships
- Liaise with DVLA in relation to RNPS (registered number plate suppliers)
- General administration including: Post, filing, enveloping etc.
- Weekly/Monthly invoicing
- Opening new customer accounts
- Tracking and arranging return of goods through FedEx
- Product and legislative knowledge – Training provided
- Processing of proforma payments
- Attend occasional trade shows
- Be active in suggestions on how to improve customer service and business processes
- Handle any responsibilities that are handed to them by the Assistant Manager / Manager
- Attend training sessions and meetings where required
- Have a good understanding of MS NAV & MS Office package
- Keep office environment clean and tidy in accordance with 5s.
