Job Title: Customer Service Clerk

Location: Kings Lynn

Salary: £18,000 – £22,000 + generous monthly performance bonus

Position: Full Time, Permanent

The Role:

Your duties will involve offering customers a complete customer care package. You will deal with mostly incoming telephone enquiries covering a wide range of subjects in connection with our customers’ insurance. These may include discussions about outstanding paperwork or payments, processing the many changes customers may wish to make to their policies, cancellation requests and also dealing with any general enquiries they may have. Successful candidates will receive full training on our range of products, how best to meet the customers’ requirements and how to use the computer system.

Opportunities to earn generous bonus payments by reaching performance related targets are also available.

Requirements:

The Company is looking for people who enjoy interacting with a variety of different people, and are comfortable doing so over the phone. You’ll need to be a motivated, committed and reliable individual who thrives on going the extra mile for customers.

Successful applicants must also be customer focused and able to work in a high paced, versatile and dynamic team. Previous customer service experience is not required, but a confident and friendly telephone manner and excellent communication skills are essential.

Normal Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 9am to 5:30pm all year round
  • Saturdays: 9am to 1pm or 9am to 4pm (Saturdays are worked on a monthly rota where you might work every other Saturday or fewer)
