Job Title: Debt Collections Agent – Call Centre

Location: Falkirk

Salary: £8.36 – £8.91 per hour

Job type: Permanent, full-time 37.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri 8 hours daily between 8am and 8pm + 1 Saturday per month 9-1pm). 30min paid lunch + 2x15mins unpaid break.

The Role

Based in their Larbert Contact Centre on the outskirts of Falkirk, you will be responsible for using their automatic dialler system to make/ receive calls (to/from) their client’s customers to discuss outstanding balances on their gas and electric account. Overcome objections discussing affordability and the options available to each customer with the end goal of securing the required payment using an appropriate method. You will also be required to answer general queries about their account. There are multiple positions available for this role.

Key Requirements:

  • Contact clients customers to discuss outstanding balances
  • Secure payments during interactions
  • Work both independently and as part of a team
  • Work alongside internal processes and procedures with ability to apply flexible approach when required

The Candidate:

  • High School National 4/5 Level in English and Math (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience in using a computer at a moderate level
  • Passionate about Customer Service
  • Knowledge of operational and energy products in general would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to project personality over the phone
