The Role:
We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic Corporate Partnerships Manager to join our growing Income Team on a Permanent Contract.
This Corporate Partnerships Manager is a newly created role, and you will be joining the team in our 60th Anniversary year to help build, develop and manage high quality corporate partnerships. This role provides an opportunity to combine both your corporate account management experience and new business development. You will be responsible for creating and managing a pipeline of corporate partnerships from businesses via fundraising, gift in kind, commercial and strategic partnerships. The successful candidate will be an integral part of a team generating long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships and delivering income aligned to our strategic priorities. Our current portfolio consists of top brand corporates delivering six figure gift partnerships.
Duties and responsibilities:
Corporate Partnerships
- Manage a mixed portfolio of corporate partnerships, including high value, and seeking opportunities to develop and grow existing partnerships
- Provide excellent stewardship to all corporate partners to ensure they receive the highest quality experience
- Deliver planned partnership activity, communications and impact reporting
- Manage key stakeholders’ relationships within each partnership building strong stewardship and cultivation plans
- Devise account management plans, to include key communication opportunities, stakeholder mapping, set KPIs and ensure agreements are in place for all partnerships
- Represent Migrant Help at corporate partner meetings, presentations and events
- Ensure all partnerships and activities comply with Fundraising Regulator guidelines, GDPR, VAT and other legal requirements
- Ensure all partnership activity is managed and recorded on the CRM system
New Business Development
- Secure income, fundraising, commercial and gifts in kind from businesses
- Develop a pipeline of corporate partners to generate long-term support
- Develop funding opportunities for projects and programmes ensuring that such opportunities and propositions are packaged attractively for corporate partners aligned to CSR objectives
- Create new business propositions and attending corporate pitches to gain support
- Where needed, seek sponsorship for special events and fundraising campaigns in line with charity’s strategic fundraising plans
- Ensure all partnerships and activities comply with Fundraising Regulator guidelines, GDPR, VAT and other legal requirements
Experience and skills:
- Experience of developing business plans and budget management
- Strong understanding of the Corporate Social Responsibility agenda
- Proven ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and deliver results
- Ability to comfortably communicate with a variety of stakeholders, tailoring communication and influencing style accordingly
- Being pro-active and use your own initiative with commitment and determination to ensure the charity’s income growth ambition
